MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat) are a self-sufficient, individual field ration in portable packs that armies obtain and provide for their service members while in combat or other field conditions where organized food provisions are scarce or out. MREs have/can also been/be distributed to civilians during natural disasters. We don’t only care about our military campaigns.
