The original off-road vehicle developed by Mercedes 31 years ago, the Mercedes G-model, has a special role at Buckler Land Systems.
The Mercedes G class, also known as the G-model or G-wagen undoubtedly holds a special place in the world of vehicles! Thanks to its wide range of models, comprehensive equipment, ongoing modernisation process and fantastic appearance, the Mercedes G-model has no real competitors. Buckler Land Systems is one of the thousands of fans who pledge their support for this fantastic vehicle through the numerous G-model clubs across the world!
We have been working with this exemplary 4-wheel drive to transform the vehicles into ‘mobile fortresses’ with great care and dedication.
We have developed a perfect set of Buckler Land Systems armour for this vehicle and are continuing to improve our design. Our SUV armouring based on the Mercedes G-model’ offers the highest levels of ballistic protection and top-class driving dynamics. As such, we are pursuing one of the fundamental ideas of its forefathers – ‘resilience’.
Our Mercedes G class is available in the resistance classes VR4, VR6 and B7 and the NATO resistance classes Stanag Level 1 , Level 2 and Level 3. There are virtually no limits to the additional customer requirements, special equipment and individual armouring options which can be incorporated and adapted to suit specific requirements. The vehicle’s interior is controlled by a proprietary Limousine Control System that operates via a tablet. The limousine’s cameras, ventilating system, media and lighting can be effortlessly run from fingertips.
