01 · Manufacturing facility
We design it.
We build it.
We test it.
Buckler Land Systems manufactures protected vehicles and defence equipment in Nigeria, from the first drawing to the finished, tested system.
Rather than simply showing a factory floor, this page shows the process: engineering, fabrication, welding, armour integration, painting, electrical integration, assembly, inspection and testing, all under one roof and one quality system.
Our ability to create concepts, take them through design and build prototypes is the foundation of every programme, from a single civilian conversion to a military platform.
People making products
Engineers, fabricators, welders and inspectors, each phase handled by specialists.
One connected process
Nine stages, each quality checked before the vehicle moves on.
Proof, not promises
Every finished platform is inspected and tested before it is delivered.

Engineering
Every platform starts as a concept and a drawing. Engineers define the design, run it through review and build prototypes before production begins.
- Concept and design development
- Drawing and design review
- Prototyping
02 / 09
Fabrication
Raw materials are cut, formed and prepared into the structural parts of the vehicle.
- Material preparation and cutting
- Forming and structural parts
- Dimensional checks
03 / 09
Welding
Skilled welders join structural and armour elements, with each joint inspected before the vehicle moves on.
- Structural welding
- Armour joining
- Weld inspection
04 / 09
Armour integration
Ballistic materials are integrated into the vehicle, durable enough to stop penetration and light enough to keep it manoeuvrable.
- Ballistic material fitting
- Glass and passenger-cell integration
- Fit and finish checks
05 / 09
Painting
Surfaces are prepared, coated and finished to protect the vehicle in demanding environments.
- Surface preparation
- Coating and finishing
- Finish inspection
06 / 09
Electrical integration
Wiring, communications and vehicle systems are integrated and retested.
- Wiring and systems integration
- Function checks
- OEM-feature retention
07 / 09
Assembly
Interior, trim, doors, glass and mechanical components are assembled into the finished vehicle.
- Mechanical assembly
- Interior and trim
- Suspension upgrades to suit armour weight
08 / 09
Inspection
Every vehicle is inspected against its specification and the quality records are completed.
- Specification checks
- Quality records
- Sign-off

Testing
Finished systems are tested before delivery so that what leaves the plant is field-ready.
- Functional and road testing
- Validation against applicable standards
